Virgil Marcu immigrated to the United States from Romania, and worked in the machining industry for aerospace, robotics and semiconductor products. In 1995, he used his knowledge of machining processes to found Marcu Manufacturing, Inc. in Hayward, CA.

In 2006, Marcu Manufacturing moved all their operations - including their well-trained machinists, knowledge base and state-of-the-art equipment to Buford, GA to keep costs down for their clients. They have retained their West Coast clientele in addition to adding new and exciting industries to their portfolio for CNC milling and turning services for companies in the Automotive, Medical, and Equipment Automation as well as the Semiconductor Industries.

Marcu Manufacturing has a wide variety of state-of-the-art CNC turning and milling equipment and is currently undergoing ISO 9001:2000 certification.
